LOCKDOWN restrictions did not dampen one Powys school’s St David’s Day celebrations.
Every year schools up and down the country mark March 1 with a day of celebration and tradition to mark our patron saint.
However this year lockdown restrictions meant many schools were unable to mark the occasion as they normally would.

As a result pupils donned their Welsh hats, dressed up as daffodils and sported their rugby shirts as Welsh tradition dictates on March 1.
Pictures were shared by Mark Hulin-Taylor who said: “Children who have returned to Llanbister CP School dressed up to celebrate St David’s Day ahead of a virtual Eisteddfod and week of competitions.
